Star of Indiana are an American drum and bugle corps formed in Bloomington, Indiana, in the mid-1980s that competed on the Drum Corps International circuit and combined brass, percussion and visual performance within the marching arts. Originally focused on outdoor competition, they later developed a touring theatrical brass and percussion production that adapted marching-arts repertoire and staging for the theatre, helping to bridge competitive drum-corps traditions with mainstream concert and theatrical audiences.
