Kinan Azmeh

Kinan Azmeh is a Syrian clarinettist and composer from Damascus who emerged as a professional musician in the early 2000s, working across contemporary classical, jazz and Arab music traditions. His work blends Western classical structures, jazz improvisation and Arabic melodic and rhythmic idioms, deployed in solo repertoire, chamber pieces and cross-cultural collaborations that explore diasporic identity and cultural exchange.
