Sebi Tramontana is an Italian trombonist who emerged in the 1980s within the free jazz and avant-garde improvisation scenes, building a career through solo work and collaborations across Europe. His musical style emphasises extended techniques, spontaneous group interplay and a melding of free improvisation with Mediterranean and contemporary classical influences, with an output that spans solo recordings, ensembles and composition.
