New Zealand String Quartet

The New Zealand String Quartet is a New Zealand chamber ensemble formed in 1987 that specialises in classical and contemporary string quartet repertoire. They have championed works by New Zealand composers alongside the standard quartet canon, developing a programme that blends historical and contemporary approaches and engaging in touring, recording and education initiatives.
