Dudley Buck
Dudley Buck was an American composer, organist and conductor born in Hartford, Connecticut in 1839 who began his career in the mid-19th century and worked primarily in sacred and concert music. His output encompassed organ repertoire, choral works and oratorios that drew on Romantic harmonies and church traditions, and he contributed to the development of American liturgical music and the organ repertoire in the late 19th century.
