Haydn Wood

Haydn Wood was an English composer and violinist of the early 20th century who began his career as a performer and worked chiefly in light orchestral music and popular song. His output comprises pastoral orchestral pieces and parlour songs that draw on folk melodies and the seaside music-hall tradition, and many of his works featured in radio-era light-music programmes.
