Al Di Meola

Al Di Meola is an American jazz fusion guitarist from Jersey City, New Jersey, who began his professional career in the early 1970s and recorded both as a solo artist and with jazz fusion groups. His playing ranges from fast, precise electric technique to acoustic work and world-music explorations, blending jazz fusion with Latin, flamenco and Mediterranean influences and evolving over time toward acoustic and globally influenced projects.
