Thurston Dart

Thurston Dart was an English musicologist, harpsichordist and conductor who began his career in the mid-20th century specialising in early music and Baroque repertoire. He contributed to the revival of historically informed performance through scholarship, editions and period-instrument performances that emphasised authentic techniques and interpretation of Renaissance and Baroque works.
