Orchestra of The Sixteen

The Orchestra of the Sixteen is a UK-based period-instrument ensemble formed in association with The Sixteen choir in London in the late 20th century, specialising in early music and historically informed performance. Its repertoire focuses on Renaissance and Baroque choral-orchestral works performed with period instruments and stylistic practice, and it has played a role in the revival and dissemination of early music within British concert and recording contexts.
