Charlie Louvin

Charlie Louvin was an American country singer and songwriter from Henagar, Alabama, who began his career in the early 1950s as one half of a sibling harmony duo rooted in country gospel. His work featured close two-part harmonies, mountain-influenced songwriting and gospel themes, and in later decades he recorded as a solo artist exploring traditional country, gospel and Americana-leaning arrangements.
