Michel Blavet

Michel Blavet was a French Baroque flautist and composer born in Besançon around 1700 who was active in Paris and in French musical circles during the first half of the 18th century. He composed sonatas, concertos and chamber works for the transverse flute that blend French ornamentation with Italianate influences and worked as a performer and teacher within Parisian musical life.
