T Lavitz was an American keyboardist who began his professional career in the late 1970s and worked primarily within jazz fusion and progressive rock contexts. His style combined jazz improvisation with rock and blues influences, evolving across collaborative ensemble projects and solo recordings that emphasised complex arrangements and extended instrumental improvisation.
