Alexina Louie

Alexina Louie is a Canadian composer and pianist born in Vancouver, British Columbia, who established her career in contemporary classical music in Canada from the late 20th century. Her works span orchestral, chamber, vocal, piano and operatic forms, often integrating colouristic orchestration, lyrical piano writing and Asian-influenced textures while also exploring theatrical and electroacoustic elements.
