Marlboro Festival Orchestra

The Marlboro Festival Orchestra is a classical ensemble formed out of the Marlboro Music Festival in Marlboro, Vermont, whose origins date to the festival's founding in 1951. It is characterised by a focus on chamber and orchestral repertoire, emphasises intensive rehearsal and close collaboration between established artists and emerging musicians, and frequently presents large-scale works within the festival programme, contributing to the training of young performers and to American chamber music practice.
