Early Opera Company

Early Opera Company is a British period-instrument ensemble formed in the late 20th century that specialises in Baroque and early Classical opera. They perform historically informed renditions of 17th- and 18th-century operatic repertoire using period instruments and performance practice, and have contributed to the revival and reassessment of early operatic works within the UK and internationally.
