Asian Dub Foundation are a British electronic music collective formed in London in 1993, drawing on dub, drum and bass, electronica, punk and South Asian musical traditions. They combine dense electronic production, heavy bass, live instrumentation and politically charged lyrics to address British Asian identity and anti-racism, evolving from a club-oriented sound system and remix collective into a full-band live act that blends traditional instruments with contemporary electronic styles.
