Maxim Emelyanychev

Maxim Emelyanychev is a Russian conductor, harpsichordist and pianist who began his career in historically informed performance and baroque chamber repertoire. He has directed the baroque ensemble Il Pomo d'Oro and expanded into symphonic and operatic conducting, with a repertoire spanning baroque and classical works interpreted with period-informed practices through to nineteenth-century and contemporary orchestral pieces.
