Caroline Kraabel

Caroline Kraabel is a saxophonist, improviser and composer based in London who has been active since the 1990s in the experimental and free-improvised music scene and who founded the London Improvisers Orchestra. Her work emphasises extended techniques, collective and large-ensemble improvisation, and she has organised projects and series to support and explore the practices of improvised music.
