Tugan Sokhiev

Туган Сохиев is a Russian conductor of Ossetian origin, born in Vladikavkaz, who began his international career in the late 1990s and is active in symphonic and operatic music. He specialises in orchestral and operatic works, with a repertory that spans Russian nineteenth- and twentieth-century composers as well as core European classics, and has held leadership posts with major orchestras and opera houses in Europe and Russia.
