David Fiuczynski is an American jazz and fusion guitarist and composer who emerged from the New York jazz scene and formed the genre-blending group Screaming Headless Torsos in the early 1990s. His work fuses jazz improvisation with rock, funk and world-music elements and frequently employs microtonal tunings and non-Western scales, reflecting a career-long interest in cross-cultural musical synthesis and exploratory electric guitar techniques.
