Philip Rosseter

Philip Rosseter was an English lutenist and composer active in the late Elizabethan and early Jacobean periods, associated primarily with lute song and consort repertoire. His work combined solo songs for voice and lute with instrumental pieces, and he later became involved in theatre management in London, reflecting the close ties between domestic lute music and the public stage in early 17th-century English culture.
