Gerhard Hüsch

Gerhard Hüsch was a German baritone who began his professional career in the 1920s, performing in opera houses and specialising in the classical Lieder and operatic repertoire. He concentrated on the German Lied repertoire and operatic roles, made numerous recordings that contributed to mid-20th-century performance practice, and later engaged in teaching within German-speaking musical institutions.
