Rothko
Rothko are an English instrumental band formed in London in 1997, drawing on ambient, post-rock and electronic music traditions. Their music is characterised by layered, bass-driven compositions and minimalist textures that later incorporated more electronic processing and collaborative arrangements, situating them within the UK’s late-1990s and early-2000s experimental and ambient scenes.
