György Sándor

György Sándor was a Hungarian-born classical pianist and teacher who began his career in Budapest in the 1930s and later emigrated to the United States. His repertoire emphasised twentieth-century and Hungarian composers, especially the music of Béla Bartók, and his performing and pedagogical work focused on clarity of articulation, rhythmic precision and advocacy for contemporary piano music.
