Carol Jantsch

Carol Jantsch is an American classical tubist who was appointed principal tuba of the Philadelphia Orchestra in 2006, emerging from conservatoire training into a professional orchestral career. Her work spans orchestral, solo and chamber performance, and she has been active in premiering new works and advocating for a broader repertoire and visibility for the tuba within classical music.
