Sidsel Endresen

Sidsel Endresen is a Norwegian jazz vocalist and composer who began her career in the late 1970s and is associated with Norway's contemporary and experimental jazz scenes. Her work emphasises free improvisation and the voice-as-instrument approach, evolving to incorporate avant-garde techniques, electronic textures and sparse, textural arrangements.
