Abbey Simon

Abbey Simon was an American classical pianist born in New York City in 1920 who launched his concert career in the mid-20th century, specialising in solo piano repertoire. He was known for his interpretations of Romantic and early 20th-century repertoire and spent much of his career combining concertising with teaching at major conservatoires.
