Edith Picht‐Axenfeld

Edith Picht-Axenfeld was a German classical pianist and harpsichordist, born in Freiburg im Breisgau in 1914, who established her concert career in the mid-20th century. Her repertoire emphasised Baroque and Classical works; she combined pianistic technique with harpsichord practice and also contributed to music education and chamber music in Germany.
