Benno Moiseiwitsch (1890–1963) was a Ukrainian-born British classical pianist who began his career as a child prodigy in the Russian Empire and later established himself in the United Kingdom, specialising in Romantic piano repertoire. He was associated with a singing tone and flexible rubato, with a repertoire centred on composers such as Rachmaninoff and Liszt, and his concert career, teaching and extensive recordings played a role in mid-20th-century British musical life.
