Jiggs Whigham

Jiggs Whigham is an American jazz trombonist who began his professional career in the 1960s and later established himself in Europe, working primarily in big band and jazz orchestra settings. Known for a lyrical, melodic approach to the trombone and for his roles as bandleader, arranger and educator, he has contributed to the development and international exchange of big band jazz.
