Mariella Devia

Mariella Devia is an Italian operatic soprano who began her professional career in the late 1960s and is principally associated with 19th-century Italian opera and the bel canto repertoire. Her repertoire centres on lyric-colouratura roles by Donizetti, Bellini and Rossini, and over the course of her career she increasingly took on more dramatic bel canto parts and participated in revivals and recordings of lesser-known Italian works.
