Leonid Desyatnikov

Леонид Аркадьевич Десятников is a Russian composer born in Odessa in 1955 who established his career from the late Soviet period into the post‑Soviet era, working across contemporary classical music, opera and film scoring. His music combines neo‑Romantic lyricism, elements of early‑music and popular styles with postmodern techniques and a strong focus on text and dramatic narrative, contributing to contemporary Russian concert and soundtrack repertoire.
