Healey Willan
Healey Willan was an English-born composer and organist who emigrated to Canada in 1913 and spent his career primarily composing and performing within the Anglican church music tradition. His output of anthems, motets, cantatas, organ works and occasional secular pieces combines modal counterpoint and plainsong influences with early 20th-century harmonic language, contributing to the development of liturgical and choral practice in Canada.
