Jean-Louis Rassinfosse is a Belgian jazz double bassist who began his professional career in the 1970s and has been active on the national and European jazz scenes. His playing focusses on melodic accompaniment and rhythmic support, ranging from straight-ahead jazz to more contemporary improvised settings and reflecting involvement in the Belgian jazz community through recordings and live collaborations.
