Joachim Badenhorst is a Belgian clarinettist and saxophonist who began his career in the early 2000s and works primarily in contemporary jazz, free improvisation and experimental music. His work combines composed frameworks with extended techniques and free improvisation, drawing on chamber-jazz textures, Balkan folk influences and collaborative projects across European improvised-music and contemporary-classical circles, moving between small-group settings, larger ensembles and cross-disciplinary performances.
