Billy Higgins

Billy Higgins was an American jazz drummer from Los Angeles who began his professional career in the late 1950s and worked extensively in hard bop, post-bop and free jazz circles. He provided a flexible, propulsive rhythmic approach across a wide range of sessions and later contributed to the Los Angeles jazz community through teaching and mentorship.
