Steve Slagle

Steve Slagle is an American jazz saxophonist and flautist born in 1951 who began his professional career in the 1970s and is based in New York, working primarily in post-bop and contemporary jazz. His work spans small-combo and big-band settings, incorporates elements of bebop, modal and modern jazz composition, and includes teaching and workshops within the New York jazz scene and jazz education.
