Francis Cutting
Francis Cutting was an English lutenist and composer active in the late 16th and early 17th centuries, associated with the Elizabethan musical scene. His surviving works for solo lute and song accompaniment—fantasias, pavans and galliards—exemplify the polyphonic, dance-oriented practices of courtly and domestic music-making in Elizabethan England.
