Raining on The Moon

Raining on the Moon is a New York-based jazz ensemble formed in the early 2000s as a vocalist-led project emerging from the downtown avant-garde scene, rooted in free and spiritual jazz traditions. The group blends composed songs and poetry with open improvisation, drawing on blues and gospel influences and engaging with social and political themes as a recurring project within experimental jazz circles.
