Jah9

Jah9 is a Jamaican singer and dub poet who emerged from Kingston's contemporary reggae scene in the early 2010s, blending roots reggae with elements of jazz, neo-soul and spoken-word. Her music fuses melodic vocals and dub production with jazz-inflected arrangements and conscious, spiritually and socially oriented lyrics, placing her within the modern roots reggae revival and contemporary dub poetry movements.
