Regino Sáinz de la Maza
Regino Sáinz de la Maza was a Spanish classical guitarist and composer born in Burgos in 1896 who began his career in the early 20th century and was active in concert performance and teaching. He was associated with the Spanish classical guitar tradition, combined flamenco-influenced idioms with classical technique, premiered Joaquín Rodrigo's Concierto de Aranjuez in 1940, and contributed to pedagogy and the expansion of the guitar repertoire.
