Jon Vickers

Jon Vickers was a Canadian operatic tenor from Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, who began his professional career in the mid-20th century performing principally in the operatic repertoire. He specialised in dramatic, psychologically intense interpretations with a powerful voice, singing a broad range of heroic and complex roles across 20th-century opera and maintaining a regular presence at major international opera houses.
