Thomas Linley
Thomas Linley was an English composer active in the late 18th century who began his career in Bath composing opera, choral and instrumental music. His work blended Italianate operatic influences with English theatrical and choral traditions, contributing to the musical life of Georgian Bath and reflecting the stylistic shift from Baroque toward Classical norms.
