Robert Vernon is an American classical double bassist who began his professional career in the United States and has been active primarily in orchestral performance and music education. Specialising in orchestral and solo repertoire for double bass, his work spans standard symphonic literature and contemporary compositions, and he has combined performance with significant teaching roles at higher music institutions.
