Robert Aitken

Robert Aitken is a Canadian flautist, composer and conductor who began his professional career in the 1960s and is primarily associated with contemporary classical music. He has specialised in avant-garde and contemporary repertoire, combining performance, composition and teaching while contributing to the development of contemporary-music institutions and commissioning new works within Canada.
