I Pomeriggi Musicali

I Pomeriggi Musicali are an Italian symphony orchestra formed in Milan in 1945 to present afternoon concert series focused on orchestral repertoire. Their musical style centres on classical orchestral programming with a pronounced emphasis on twentieth-century and contemporary works, and across their career they have balanced standard symphonic programmes with advocacy for modern composers and collaborations in opera and cross-genre projects.
