Groupe d'étude et réalisation musicales are a French electroacoustic organisation formed in the late 1950s in Paris, specialising in musique concrète and experimental electronic composition. Emerging from studio-based practices, their work emphasises tape manipulation, acousmatic listening and sound-object techniques, and over subsequent decades evolved to incorporate digital signal processing and institutional research that shaped contemporary electroacoustic and acousmatic traditions.
