Wild Bill Davis

Wild Bill Davis was an American jazz organist and pianist who began his career in the 1930s, working primarily in swing and big-band contexts. He was among the early adopters who popularised the Hammond organ in jazz, moving from big-band arrangements to small-group organ combos and helping shape the development of soul-jazz and organ trio formats.
