Napoleon Murphy Brock is an American singer, saxophonist and flautist who began his professional career in the late 1960s and came to prominence in the early 1970s working within progressive and experimental rock and R&B-influenced ensembles. His musical style combines R&B and soul-inflected vocals with saxophone and flute playing, blending funk, jazz and avant-garde rock elements and evolving through extensive live performance, improvisation and collaborations within the 1970s and later experimental music scenes.
