Eino Tamberg was an Estonian composer from Tallinn who studied at the Tallinn Conservatory and began his professional career in the 1950s, working primarily within the classical and contemporary classical traditions. His output, including operas, orchestral and chamber works, moved between neoclassical clarity and modernist techniques, engaging with the cultural conditions of the Soviet era and later contributing to Estonia's national musical life.
